Innovative Leadership

I’m Priscilla Novak, PhD, MPH, PMP, and I’m a leader and expert in public health research. Over the past 10 years, I’ve led teams and managed large projects, overseeing $100 million in research funding across 75 U.S. universities. My work has focused on improving our understanding of access, cost, and quality of care for older Americans. As a former Peace Corps volunteer, I’ve also gained experience in marketing, human resources, and IT while earning my MPH and PhD in health policy research. I’m passionate about communicating research and have published 25 peer-reviewed journal articles, along with numerous blog posts, proposals, evaluations, reports, and social media content. Currently, as a faculty member at the University of Maryland School of Public Health, I teach courses on advocacy, leadership, program planning, evaluation, and quality improvement to undergraduate and master’s students.
